   This bed restraints set arrived discreetly packaged and exactly as described. The installation was surprisingly easy and took only a few minutes — no tools required. The adjustable straps fit securely under the mattress and stayed in place without shifting during use.

   First, it comes in an anonymous black resealable bag. Considering it’s a lot of straps, this is more important than you might think. If you’ve ever spent an afternoon untangling straps from ropes from chains from cords because you just put everything neatly into your gear bag, you know what I’m talkin’ about.

   The straps themselves are nylon, which has it’s charm… you can clean them in the washer, the dishwasher, or by taking them in the bathtub with your rubber duckie. (If you put them in the clothes washer, use a lingerie bag. You will thank me.) The sewing looks sturdy, so that’s all good. I appreciate that the ends were sealed carefully, so there aren’t any razor-sharp ends waiting to snag that expensive lingerie.

   I’m a little disappointed by the steel hardware. The D rings look like the clips in your notebook would beat them up for their lunch money. That’s okay if your self-bondage scenario goes sideways and you need to tear yourself loose in a frenzied panic. But if they accidentally *ping* loose mid-scene, it’d just be sad times.

   I appreciate the geometric engineering of this set. It’ll fit a variety of mattresses without slipping loose or making the mattress curl up like a soft taco. I had to do a LOT of struggling and cussing and improvising with ropes to do the same, since my mattress is a custom-made one-of-a-kind size that had to be special-ordered to fit an antique bedframe.

   The included cuffs seem comfy. They’d certainly be up to the task of restraining someone who really would actually prefer to be restrained.

   If it could just stay on the bed forever, I’d love it 110% even with the sketchy hardware.

   This is my revised review. I notified the company about the missing hand cuff. They sent me an entire new set for my inconvenience. The set worked exactly as we had hoped. Set up is easy. The cuffs are velcro and can be applied and removed easily. They also have attached snap clips to If you are up for advanced play, you will be happy with this set.

   The straps were rather easy to set up. It only took a few minutes the 1st time. Would love to use as intended, but one of the hand cuffs is missing.

   So, my bed is a relatively thick full bed so I was hesitent on whether this would fit it at all. It fits just fine turns out! i had to wrap the top and botton straps around each other once because my bed is smaller then this was designed for, but that doesnt seem to effect how secure it it. The cufs are also very easy to both put on and get off(though not easy if you are all done up unless you can reach with your teeth)

   (personally i put this on the bed when i got it and just havent taken it off. since all the straps are on the corners or edge of the bed they dont get in th way of say sleeping much if at all)

   overall this is VERY effective at what it was designed to do.
