It’s a good device. The “tongue” has plenty of power and it’s a pleasant girth and length I just didn’t find the thrusting power to be strong enough for me. It would stall out if I heald it too tight. Might be easier with the mounting base but for handheld use I was less than thrilled.

You can use it without the mounting base. Just hold steady. Maybe with two hands depending on how you roll. It’s substantial and not made for the timid. It works for the intended purpose. Good quality and sturdy so far. The instructions are tricky. I quit trying to figure them out and just went for it. No comment on toy life or durability as it just arrived today.
