Not only was the set packaged neatly within a sealed black bag, but most individual items within that bag were also in additional packaging of their own. Every item within the set showed up exactly as expected, with no damage caused by shipping.
The materials used for these products have an almost furry soft backing to them(collar, wrist/ankle restraints) with the other parts being made up of leather. Everything is of satisfying quality and is durable as well. If you follow the proper care instructions, this set should have no issue holding up! All of the metal components such as d rings, clasps, and chain attachments are all solid, not flimsy like many other products like this that I have come across. There is no guessing game on whats what, this is a very functional yet comfortable set that comes with a good variety of items, such as Feather tickler, clamps, rope, collar. Leash. Despite the other reviews, this is a very breakage and cheap set. The cuffs broke upon little resistance, the ball gag was too big, and fit awkwardly. The rope is way too small for any shibari, it’s just meant for simple binds. (incase you read the other review and bought it for shibari). Honestly, if you’re looking to “try something new”, save up and buy an actual set for $50-100. This isn’t worth it.

This is not me knocking the seller for what they provided, they provided what is in the picture, this is just me making a post from my observations. I post this fulling admitting that I have not testing it on anyone other than myself at the moment. Before I decide to use these with my fiancee, I want to make sure of what I will be putting her through. For reference, I am 6’4″ and 280lbs. I use = to mark bullet points so it didn’t look like I was +/- rating things.
=This is NOT really an under the bed kit as titled. This is more of an on top of the bed restraint system. The argument can be made that they intend the rope to be used for running under the bed, but a strap system would work better and maneuver better between a mattress and box springs or platform of your bed.
=The mask, collar, wrist cuffs and ankle cuffs are all fuzz/fur lined for some comfort and shouldn’t chafe unless you are putting them through heavy use. Lets be honest though, if you are heavily using restraints, you didn’t buy this kit anyways.
=The collar could be a bit tall/thick for beginners looking for kink play at 2″ and for those with a thicker neck, you might need to find a collar elsewhere because at its widest it is only 16″ circumference. I am 17″ approximately in circumference and was unable to buckle the collar for testing.
=The leash feels lightweight and is more for cosmetics or light play. For those heavier into pet play or at least want to get more mileage from a leash, you will want a heavier duty leash.
=The ballgag is hard hollow plastic with breathing holes in it. If your partner is a hard biter and has good jaw strength, you might need to worry about the seam of the ball cracking. The strap does have a thin feel to the leather much like the leash but unless you are hooking reins to it, the strap will do its job just fine. In my case, I would need to buckle the strap for it around my neck below my ears which might cause it to pull at the short hairs on the nape of my neck and catch on the collar which could be a problem for some people.
=All of the buckles are a double buckle for a secure enough hold so that is a nice feature and anything with a buckle has been built to overlap comfortably enough.
=If your partner has thick nipples or you want a larger area to clamp to, the nipple clamps might not open wide enough for you., these get you about 3/4″, but should open wide enough for most users.
=The flogger feels a bit light weight but is easy to wield and figure 8s well enough, with leads that are 13″ from end of handle to end of lead. The leads are the same light weight thin leather like the leash and the straps for the ball gag.
=The cross piece does make a nice addition when added to the collar because you can unclip the cuffs from their chain and hook them to the sides of the cross piece to keep your partner’s hands further restrained. Or keep the chain and hook it to the bottom clip of the cross piece.
=The mask fit comfortably enough for short use, but you may need to trim the nose piece up a bit more so that it fits your partner’s nose.
=The only piece I didn’t try was the tickler and that is just because I have nerve issues and don’t feel below a certain level of impact/contact pressure.
=If you have a knack for sewing or have a strong enough sewing machine, you can also extend the life of the collar and restraints by either relining them when they wear down or cut the lining open and stuff a bit of cotton batting in them to help cover up the studs. The only piece that doesn’t feel like you can add padding to is the mask, this feels like it might be glued and stitched together, but didn’t test it to hard so that i wouldn’t damage it.
Overall:
As a kit on sale when I bought it, this is a fantastic find and will be a great starter set for me to try out on my fiancee. We will keep what we like, make some adjustments if need be and discard what we don’t. I will be looking for a proper under the bed strap kit though to partner up with this.
